The Saturday SLAA Trailblazers Video meeting uses a web conferencing system, so all you need is any PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad or Tablet with a camera, microphone and speakers attached and turned on to participate. Well before the meeting, go to zoom.us and create a free account. To protect your anonymity DO NOT log in via Facebook or Google even if site suggests this, just use your first name and the first letter of your last name,e.g., “June S.”
SLAA Trailblazers meetings are held each Saturday and last for 1 hour and 15 minutes, from 19:00 GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) until 20:15 GMT, which in the US is typically 11.00 PACIFIC TIME and 14.00 EASTERN TIME. To confirm your local time, please go to: www.worldtimebuddy.com and compare your local time to 7pmGMT (UTC).
A few minutes before it is time for the meeting to start, go to zoom.us, click on “join meeting,” and enter the meeting ID: 633-543-389
Some may wish to remain after the formal meeting for fellowship to chat, share on topics, answer questions, etc. just like a regular meeting.
As a group we are excited about this new meeting and the opportunity it presents to make SLAA “Face to Face Meetings” available to all irrespective of their location. We have room for a maximum of 25 participants. This is just the beginning if there is enough demand, we can have as many additional meetings as we choose, AT NO ADDITIONAL COST!
This Group really is Trailblazing a new path in carrying the message of recovery to the still suffering addict.
