This is an inclusive face to face meeting free to all who need it, the only restriction is that you must be over 18 years to attend.
6 Barlow Moor Road, Didsbury, Manchester M20 6TR. (The large Victorian house next to the Emmanuel Church… you’ll see the sign on the door). There is a free car park round the back for anyone attending the meeting.
Tea and coffee is provided.
We have a mixed format which follows the below weekly structure.
1st Thursday of the month. Step meeting, focusing on a reading from the SLAA basic text for the step correlating to that month.
2nd Thursday of the month. Meditation meeting, meditating for 10 minutes on a reading from the State of Grace book and then sharing on what comes up in the meditation.
3rd Thursday of the month. Tradition meeting, focusing on a reading from the AA 12&12 for the tradition correlating to that month.
4th Thursday of the month. Anorexia meeting, focusing on a reading from our collection of anorexia literature.
5th Thursday of the month. Chair meeting, a guest speaker will share their experience of recovery through the SLAA program of recovery, and share a message of strength and hope.
