Attending a Fellowship meeting for the first time.
The only requirement for S.L.A.A. membership is the desire to stop living out a pattern of sex and love addiction. SLAA is very protective of the anonymity of its members. Accordingly, meetings are normally closed to outsiders and those who are merely curious. However, anyone who fears that they may have this problem will be welcome, as long as the anonymity of those attending the meeting is respected.

There is no need to book or give advance notice of your attendance at a meeting - just turn up! People there will help you.

Meeting Formats:
There are multiple formats available for a SLAA meeting.  View Starter Kit.
H.O.W. Concept and Tools: HOW meetings offer a particular approach to doing the 12 Steps. Anyone seeking SLAA recovery is welcome at a HOW meeting. Visit also our SLAA UK forum. For further understanding of this concept and how it is implemented, please talk with established members of the group after the meeting.
