Meeting Themes: 1st Tuesday of the month – Step meeting. Pass around a reading from the basic text for the step correlating to that month i.e January read step 1, February read step 2 and so on… 2nd Tuesday of the month – Meditation meeting. Pass around a reading from the State of Grace Daily Meditation book, followed by a short meditation on the reading. 3rd Tuesday of the month – Tradition Meeting. Pass around a reading from AA 12 & 12 book for the tradition correlating to that month i.e January read tradition 1, February read tradition 2 and so on… 4th Tuesday of the month – Anorexia Meeting. Pass around a reading from the anorexia collection of literature. 5th Tuesday of the month – For months with 5 Tuesdays – Chair meeting. A guest speaker who has completed the SLAA 12 step program is invited to share their experience of working the program for an extended 20 min share… either in person or via call. SLAA Mixed Wednesday night group in Chorlton rotates its meeting topics on different weeks – between a chair, the 12 Steps, 12 Traditions, the Withdrawal Experience and a Topic discussion. Biscuits and tea are provided and we encourage those who can to arrive 10 minutes before the meetings starts so they can settle in and meet other fellows – if they are comfortable to do so! All are welcome. Same location as The Edge in Chorlton on Google Maps. In the “Rendevous Room” and the entrance is at the back of the church. Please contact 07794 925450 for further information. Free parking behind the building in Elswick East Street. Open Every Thursday at 7pm to 8:30pm. This is an inclusive face to face meeting free to all who need it, the only restriction is that you must be over 18 years to attend. 6 Barlow Moor Road, Didsbury, Manchester M20 6TR. (The large Victorian house next to the Emmanuel Church… you’ll see the sign on the door). There is a free car park round the back for anyone attending the meeting. Tea and coffee is provided. We have a mixed format which follows the below weekly structure.
